Malone Stadium, proudly situated on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), is the home of the ULM Warhawks football team. Officially known as JPS Field at Malone Stadium, our venue stands as a powerful symbol of the Warhawk Nation’s spirit and pride in the Sun Belt Conference. A Tradition of Winning and Community

The stadium, named in honor of James L. Malone, the winningest coach in ULM football history, first opened its gates on September 16, 1978. Since its initial opening with a capacity of 20,000, Malone Stadium has grown through several expansions and renovations to its current seating capacity of approximately 27,617. The stadium is located across Bayou Desiard from the main campus, forming the heart of ULM’s athletic facilities.

State-of-the-Art Playing Surface

The field itself, JPS Field, features a modern synthetic FieldTurf surface. This commitment to maintaining a high-quality playing field ensures optimal performance for the Warhawks and year-round usability for various university and community events.

• Executive Box Level: The larger west grandstand features a two-level skybox atop the structure, housing the press box and luxury boxes, offering superior views and exclusive hospitality.
• ULM Athletics Training Center: The lower west level contains the ULM Athletic Training Center, providing essential resources for student-athlete development and health.
• HD Video Scoreboard: ULM has invested in a massive, high-definition video scoreboard and state-of-the-art sound system, energizing the stadium with live replays and fan engagement.
